We began at 4:30p.m. the Easter Saturday and somehow we managed to get in touch with Teddy Blades and pull it off the next day, successfully, with a small yet powerful crowd.

We always start at Harbour Lights because we have to finish there for the beach party. We travel around our beautiful island, no particular route in mind. Making a special effort to visit Cattlewash for a bathroom stop and wukk-up session. It's a great form of exercise like ridin' de bicycles, whether a real one or on the ground, trying to ride cows and 'lashing' goats. OH by the way------trying to keep away from black & blues is a hopeless case.

As the years progressed - so the ideas. What started out as a little spontaneous 'thing' has turned out to be a 5-month sponsored planning 'THING'. The music for the day is Dub, Calypso and 70's music (on the way home only).

The first Bus Tour started great with a personal salute from the Rt. Hon Owen Arthur on Bay Street. Then kidnapping of cricketers in Cattlewash along with the total disruption of play at the airport. Of course we can't forget the police's warning of 'silence at the airport' while everyone tried to sing louder than the other, even on microphone (Tessa).

One year we even had a bull on board...thank God she could be kept under control by Roberta Worme, who had a ball doing so and did a great job. Over the years we've had many 'first experiences, like 'Ballerina's' smoking, nauseous 'packaging', 'the villagers' kidney infections and ant invasion and 'cable' & 'soup' trying to steal signs. And of course we can't forget one girl who somehow or the other completely covered her head with a condom without popping it- I guess testing it before putting it to use- How she got a small condom over her 'big head' I would never know. That picture is a must to see (it's not on the site because she is too shy).

Then portable bathrooms. That would be any and everywhere you bladder decides to BURST, whether it be over a man hole (No pun intended) at Bussa or in cane fields all over the island. That just goes to show you how we get our sugar so sweet, due to the sun, sand and girly WEE-WEE.

We also have to welcome 3 little future bus tour revelers, That's Chad Anthony (a bartender of course) brought into this world by Gillian Morris, then Teddy's little fella, Lance (definitely a driver) and then number 3 not quite born as yet but anxiously waiting by proud mummy Tessa Hinkson O'Neal. Also congrats goes out to Laurie and Stacey on their engagement…not to each other but to 2 pretty cool guys.
